A Shockingly Good Mini PC for the Price
If you’re looking for a mini PC with strong performance for the money, the GMKtec M6 Ultra is one that’s very easy to recommend. Starting around $419 (April 2026), it sits firmly in that sweet spot where it’s powerful enough to actually do things, but still cheap enough to justify.
So the question is simple:
Is this just another small box… Or is it actually worth your time?
Specs Overview

For a budget-to-midrange mini PC, that’s a solid setup – especially with DDR5 and the 760M graphics.
Design & Ports
Design-wise, GMKtec are sticking with what works. It’s a compact plastic chassis, fairly understated, and easy to tuck behind a monitor or under a desk.
Cooling is handled by dual fans (top and bottom), with plenty of ventilation all around. It’s not flashy, but it definitely IS practical.
Ports? Here you go:

The Radeon 760M iGPU does a decent job for 1080p gaming:

- Cyberpunk 2077: ~25 FPS (low), ~35 with FSR
- 720p tweaks: close to 60 FPS in heavier titles

Easy enough to upgrade if you want more storage or tweak things later.
The Downsides
A few minor trade-offs:

Nothing deal-breaking – just where costs have been kept sensible.
Final Verdict
The GMKtec M6 Ultra is a great value mini PC.
It’s fast, efficient, and versatile enough for:

- Everyday use
If you don’t need Oculink or a dedicated GPU, this is a very easy recommendation.
It’s one of those machines that just quietly does everything you ask of it – which, in a weird way, is more impressive than it sounds.
